Why cancer? You’re probably thinking that this title doesn’t make sense, but what I’m actually getting at is, why is cancer attacking more people now than ever before?

Thirty years ago cancer was something you heard of. In the last 10 years however, cancer has exploded, and more people are being diagnosed with all sorts of cancers. People are desperately searching for help with breast cancer, lymph nodes cancer, liver cancer, bowel cancer, and lung cancer to name a few. Cancer is now forefront in our awareness, and more and more people are looking for information on how to fight cancer and win.

So what’s going on? Cancer has always been with us, but lately it’s gone totally out of control. The cause is believed to be our higher stress lifestyles, food full of additives and pesticides; genetically modified foods; irradiated foods; microwaves; increased electromagnetic exposure; and increased atmospheric toxins and pollutants. It’s a vicious circle.

Our increased standards of living have created more and more demands for time saving gadgets and devices, which means in real terms that in most families both a husband and wife have to be providers. Consequently there is less time for meals at home. We have become nations of junk food eaters, and with our food containing more salt and sugar than ever before, not only is our diet suffering, but also our bodies and immune systems.

Our immune systems are under full attack 24 hours a day. Something has to give and what has ‘given’ is our ability to be naturally healthy.

Cancer has always been with us. We all have cancer, or more correctly, we all have cancer cells continually being created in our bodies. But our bodies were designed for simpler more natural diets, and our immune systems never had to cope with these extra factors before. Our immune systems were designed to seek out and destroy cancer cells continually, but what has happened now is that with all these extra carcinogens to which we are exposed, too many free radicals have become present in the body, leading to excessive numbers of cancerous cells being created.

Our immune systems have become overwhelmed, and like a leaking boat when pumps are no longer able to pump out the water, we are starting to sink.

The thinking behind cancer is more or less agreed by nearly everyone, but where they differ is with help for cancer treatments. You see the actual process of cancer has been known since 1931.

Dr. Warburg won a Nobel Prize in 1931 for proving cancer is caused by the reduction of oxygen respiration in cells to a point where for the cells to survive and continue to make energy, they have to switch to an alternative method of making energy, by using sugar, (fermentation). A process called glycolysis.

So the primary cause of cancer cells is the replacement of oxygen respiration in normal body cells by the process of fermentation of sugar. To do so, the cells mitochondria, which govern oxygen respiration are switched off.

Unfortunately, the mitochondria are also responsible for the self-destruction of abnormal cells. With this function removed, the abnormal cancerous cells no longer self-destruct, and outlive normal body cells, leading to a takeover situation similar to a garden being taken over by weeds. Remove the gardener and the weeds prosper.

In glycolysis, lactic acid is produced as a waste product, and to make matters worse, this weakens the cells’ walls allowing individual cancer cells to break away into the body’s fluid
system, and travelling throughout the body establishing secondary cancer tumors. Not only are there weeds in the garden, but they are continually seeding.

I’ve been doing some digging, (excuse the pun), into cancer recently, and what I’ve discovered is actually quite frightening. Not frightening in respect to the seriousness of the disease itself, but frightening, in respect of the different thinking, especially in what appears to be the thinking of the medical profession regarding cancer and secondary cancer in the western world.

There does appear to be sound reasons behind this, but these sound reasons actually hinder our awareness of cancer. On the face of it there appears to be knowledge, which has been known for decades to be effective in the treatment of cancer, but this information appears to have been suppressed, and not made available to the public.

Why? The answer seems to be, quite simply a matter of money. Not money in the context of keeping information quiet for a profit, but money as in not ‘financially viable’ to research the alternative knowledge as to its effectiveness.

You see, natural products are not patentable unless modified in some manner, and because we are talking about natural cancer treatment, there is just no money to strictly set out regimes of testing necessary to prove and document their effectiveness. Therefore the results are not proven and are labeled inconclusive.

Now don’t misunderstand me, there are records out there which would tend to show the treatment is effective, but just like world records which are claimed from time to time, these records are not verified to the criteria required. On the other hand, the medical and drug industry have a strict regime of testing which costs in the hundreds of millions of pounds, detailed documentation, and can prove beyond doubt the effectiveness their products.

People go to their doctors for solutions. Can you really blame the medical profession for going with products they know that work, even if they know something else may work but can’t be proven?

You and I both know that with natural products you can claim just about anything, and here is another factor for the non dissemination of information. Cowboy companies can manufacture a product from natural ingredients and claim that this product works wonders with ‘whatever’, so laws have to be introduced to protect people from fraud.

Unfortunately, it’s a bit like throwing out the baby with the bath water, it restricts the communication of the useful information necessary for natural cancer treatments.

Additionally with today’s society of fault finding and suing for damages, your doctor is probably restrained by his insurance cover from making any recommendations, or prescribing anything other than a medication that can be proven to be effective. So it’s left to you and me to find out the information for ourselves and make our own decisions about a natural cancer cure.

This was actually brought home to me a few days ago, when I was researching how to cure cancer for purposes of writing a series of articles in this blog.

There are several strategies that you can use for the natural prevention and treatment of cancer. For the moment and I’m going to call them ‘Cancer Assassins’, and each will be the subject of a post in this blog in the near future.

What I meant by being brought home, was, I went to a local health store and asked for a certain natural supplement. This store didn’t actually sell it, so I asked the sales person, could they recommend an alternative. The young lady I spoke to asked me what the product was for. When I said, natural cancer treatment, she replied sorry she could not recommend anything. A legal restriction apparently. She was not allowed to recommend products for several listed conditions and help for cancer was one of them.

On further enquiry, it seems that there is actual legislation forbidding retailers to make recommendations for products to treat the conditions of sexually transmitted diseases, diabetes, cancer, epilepsy, kidney disease, paralysis, cataracts, locomotor ataxia, glaucoma, and tuberculosis.

Again there would appear to be insurance cover restrictions in place to ensure compliance so is it any wonder that we find it so difficult to get a true picture of possible cancer treatments?

Up to now it has probably been almost impossible, unless you have been lucky enough to come across information in a library. Certainly decades ago, it probably was impossible. With the advent of the Internet and many more families coming online over the last several years, only now is this information becoming generally available.

I will be writing about this information and the strategies I am calling ‘Cancer Assassins’ in future articles along with the underlying causes of cancer, and what we can do hopefully to obtain a cancer cure.

Well, it looks like the scientists have actually made a real breakthrough at last. It has long been established that cancer cells out live normal cells and have been deemed ‘immortal’.

The process whereby cancer starts has also been known for a number of years. The drug concerned in this breakthrough has been used for a number of years to treat other conditions, and is known to be safe.

Interestingly, the drug, called dichloroacetate has no patent, so any of the major drug companies could manufacture this drug cheaply and quickly.

Cancer is known to start when these cells switch from using oxygen to generate energy, to a method using sugar called glycolysis, which is essentially creating energy anaerobically, or without oxygen. The cells actually do this as a survival trait, (and I’ll be dealing with this in another series of posts relating to cancer).

In the process, the cells mitochondria are turned off, (as the mitochondria are responsible for using the oxygen energy process), to allow the sugar energy process to start.

Unfortunately, the mitochondria are also responsible for the self-destruction of abnormal cells, and once turned off, and cells continue to replicate abnormally. Ironically, the process also creates a waste product, lactic acid. Lactic acid breaks down the cell walls and allows abnormal cells to break away from the tumour. These cells can then travel to any part of the body and create secondary tumours.

Dichloroacetate or DCA, as it is known attacks cancer cells by returning the cells energy process back to using oxygen, by switching back on the mitochondria. This triggers the cells to self-destruct. Previously it was assumed that this was impossible because it was believed the mitochondria in a damaged cell were beyond recovery.

You will also see in further posts that followers of natural cancer treatments have always believed the cells were capable of recovery.

There are a few side-effects to using DCA. It can cause numbness, upset to your gait and pain.

It looks promising, and DCA appears to be effective against all forms of cancer. Hopefully DCA will soon be more generally available.

Believed to be the second oldest person to have lived on record (died February 21st 1986), Shigechiyo Izumi, was Japanese and resided on the Sango coral islands around Okinawa. He attributed his longevity to the consumption of coral calcium, a habit enjoyed by approximately 4 million Japanese today.

This Sango coral islands are made of calcium which has a similar composition to human bones. Water percolates through the reefs and accumulates various minerals and elements, which when drunk is rich in minerals, has a pH value of between 7 and 8.5 and contains a high level of coral calcium. Sango Coral would appear to be unique in these qualities, with no other coral out of about 2500 species having the same properties.

The oldest person to have lived on record Jeanne Calment (February 21, 1875 – August 4, 1997), who died at 122/164 days was from France, February 21, 1875 – August 4, 1997, and her records are verified. She was reputed to have said, “ I was over the hill a hundred years ago”, and when asked what sort of future she expected to have said,” A short one”, claimed her longevity was due to the consumption of olive oil which she poured on her food and rubbed into her skin.

A couple of months ago I read in a newspaper article about an elderly lady who resides in a Belfast residential home in Northern Ireland. She had just celebrated her 105th birthday. Unfortunately I don’t remember her name, but she claimed her longevity was due to the drinking of a bottle of Guinness every day.

So maybe we should play safe, and all rush out and buy coral calcium capsules, eat more salads lashed with olive oil, and drink Guinness to excess. Some of us would at least die happy!
