Eurax Cream Stops Itching Quickly

Eurax Cream stops persistent itching quickly. Itching and scratching can be one of the most aggravating conditions you can suffer. Whether the condition results from scabies, pruritus, dermatitis, eczema, or simply a rash from a food allergy, it is particularly maddening in that the more you scratch the worse it becomes.

Would it be nice to have a cream that treats a number of these conditions simultaneously? Well I’ve found one.

A quick application of Eurax cream on the affected area of skin stops itching dead in its tracks. Crotamiton, the active ingredient of Eurax cream is well tolerated by the body with little known side-effects.

Eurax cream is normally prescribed by a doctor, but it can be purchased over-the-counter since the medication carries little risk.

However to maximise its effectiveness and for safety there are certain instructions you should take into consideration.

* Eurax cream should only be applied on clean skin. Gently wash the skin area with warm water and dry with a soft towel.
* Do not use Eurax cream on scratches, bruises, or open wounds!
* It is wise to check the list of ingredients in the medication to ensure that it contains no substances you may be allergic to.

Eurax Cream Side Effects and Precautions

There have been virtually no side-effects reported from using Eurax cream although it is possible for some people to experience some slight skin irritation.

If you apply Eurax cream and your condition worsens wash the medication off immediately and contact your doctor, as there may be an ingredient in the cream from which you are suffering an allergic reaction.

Extra care should be taken when applying the cream to the immediate eye area. If you do accidentally get some cream into your eyes they should be immediately rinsed in water. As a precaution you should make contact with your GP as soon as possible.

Regarding the taking of other medications, there are no known drug interactions observed with this cream.

Naturally it goes without saying that pregnant or breast-feeding woman should consult a doctor before applying treatment, as existing information is not comprehensive enough to certify the product is safe for a baby.
